One that almost made the mark and why I think she missed

Chelsy, Harry's girlfriend, is very sweet. Her suit is great and I love the color. Just needed to be a couple inches longer to make it dressier. It is too casual this length. Her clutch and shoes are good and I I like the color. She could have had short gloves in the champagne as well to add to dressy feeling. Love the no jewelry again. The big problem is the hat. It needed to be a bit more dramatic to set her apart. It is just too tiny. I love the color and the idea. Just needs to be more of a beehive hat I think and she could have made my list.
The other is

Top Five at the Royal Wedding (not including wedding party)

Drum roll please!
#5. tie-Frances Osborne-simple elegance, Camilla-great job (just needed those platforms)

#4. Sophie- Just right. She looks great!
#3.Princess Letzia- simply charming
#2. Victoria Beckham-I thought she hit all the right notes for the fashion forward person she is with the ahead of things, dark color, the sky high platforms, the best of the pill box hats, and this loose very forward dress.  Loved the pony tail. Good job!

#1. Of course Joss Stone. Perfect in every way!

Get ready for the 5 worst and 2 almost made the best list hee hee!! Tonight!

My top 5 hits and misses at Royal Wedding coming

My favorite

If I had been invited to this wedding(hee hee), this is what I would have worn. Joss Stone's outfit is really perfect, in my opinion. I love everything about it. I love the color as this is probably the last season where big color is "HOT" and I think the pink is perfect. I love the very limited jewelry. The earrings and the simple bracelet are all she needs. No gloves, a great decision with this particular case.
I adore the hat choice, instead of the pill boxes that were so prominent. I love the little pink flowers on the hat. I love that her hair was hidden. I love the length of the dress. It is perfect, and very new again moving in to fall. I love that there is no belt on the dress, in this case. I love the shoes. These were the kind  I thought Camilla should have worn. Just a slight platform. This girl looks just right!! Love it. I like others as well but this is #1 for me.

One of my favorites!

Joss Stone, young and fresh. Love the idea she is wearing no jewelry. Love the choice of color for the hat. So much better than matchy, matchy as in the "blue number" following.
This was close to being O.K. and I have to think about what I would do to make it right.  I would have left the blue clutch home for sure and the gloves should have been short and she could have carried them. Ditch the scarf and had the dress with sleeves might have done it.

Best and Worst

I love the look on the left and hate the look on the right. Lots more to come with analysis of why I like and don't like.
I Really liked Sophie's look  and hated Princess Anne's hideous choice

Lots more tomorrow, plus coming up: Ski fashions, my history from 1972 to present

More on fashions at the Royal Wedding

I thought Camilla looked great. The only thing I would have done different was substitute her traditional heel for a platform which would have made it perfect in my opinion. Images on royals  from telegraph.co.uk

Good Heaven! What happened here?

These are Fergie's daughters. I do not like how they look. In my opinion, there is so much going wrong here I don't know where to begin. Critique next

The 80's

I was full on in these years! Early 30's and the "sky was the limit"

Me and my Mum

Mum's hair in the 60's and my hair in the 60's. I used to have to tape my bangs to my forehead at night and hope there wasn't a crook in them when I awoke, since I have totally curly hair and there weren't irons to straighten hair then.

Mummy at 20 and at 80 years old

Another of that short hair

More history in pictures of my mum, Lilly and my history in fashion

This would have been around 1972/73. Notice my mum's pulled back bun. She wore that for many years
Window display in my first shop. This is an Ungaro vest when he did skiwear. This would have been around 1978 or so. The skirt is Parachute. These were the same sedigners who did the clothes for Don Johnson in Miami Vice.

Lilly Swift

Lillian Gertrude Sullivan born July 3,1922
What a Beauty! This is my mummy in her youth. She had an ease about her style. It came so natural to her.

The pictures are not the best but you get the point. Movie star looks, and flawless style.
I learned everything there is to know about style, from Lilly, my mummy

Moi, at 32. It was a VERY good year!

32 and about to conquer the world! I sold those clothes at Mountain Magic then. Soooo expensive and outrageous. I loved it! They wouldn't sell here now. Much different clientele and different time. What a mullet.  It was super "IN" at the time. (80's you know). My hair was always cut by Don Vooys from The Ginger Group, at the time, a genius who died too young

See you later with expose on my mum!

Next Post- My Mum, Lilly. Check in later!

GOOD LORD IN HEAVEN!!

This is my favorite. It's a jumpsuit of sorts. I LOVE this and want it for fall . The tweed fabric is fabulous. I love Karl Lagerfeld. He just rocks it out season after season

Lengths

I have always preferred short and this season VERY short is VERY hot!!

Jennifer Hudson . I luv, luv luv this dress! Have to have the legs for sure but if you do and have a fancy 5pm-8pm cocktail party to attend, I would love this.
The other hot length right now is mid calf. Again have to have thin ankles for this one but it is great!! I will get a picture of this in next post. I love that length for day time swingy dresses. Very Milano!
There are two other new versions. One is the just at or just above the knee. We have seen everything but and it seems to be new again
The other notable length probably because of all the great shoes out there, is the short pant length. I love it. It is not a capri. It is above the ankle pants as in this photo
I should also mention a return of "hot pants" These are not shorts for casual wear and are not jean shorts. They are dressy very short shorts as in this photo
Actually, I would even like better for evening with black sheers and a dressy cashmere black sweater and a kitten heel, agin for the club or cocktail party.

I missed the damn putt.

I think being in my 60's is going to be a roller coaster. It's great sometimes but very hard to be on, all the time. I am trying, but struggling at the moment. I love my Betsey Johnson polka dot mini, though!!

 I WANT MY TRIBE!!
Love this new golf skirt from Jamie Sadock. It is very tight and stretchy and glamorous

Nighty night. I  need to find my tribe. Are you out there???

I feel OLD and LOST!!

Dear God! I have to do something. This is killing me, literally!

Where is my tribe?

Definitely not here . I am very depressed about it.

Here are a couple photos from our golf trip to Florida. It was so relaxing
